Photizo Light Therapy offers various options of LED treatment to now be done at home rather than at a therapist or beautician. It is also more cost-effective. We are particularly excited to have added Photizo Blush which decreases the signs of ageing in the comfort of your home.
The light wavelengths used in Photizo Light Therapy
Visible red light: Light that lie within the visible spectrum, from 400 nm* (violet) to 700 nm (red). At a wavelength of 660 nanometers, penetrates tissue to a depth of about 8-10 mm (about 3/8″). It is very beneficial in treating problems close to the surface such as wounds, cuts, scars, trigger points and acupuncture points, and is particularly effective in treating infections.
Infrared light: Light in the invisible spectrum (below red), from 700 nm to 2 000 nm. Infrared rays are not visible to the eye; they penetrate to a depth of about 30-40 mm (1.2″ to 1.4″), making them more effective for bones, joints, deep muscles, bursa, etc. Although both red and infrared wavelengths penetrate to different depths and affect tissues differently, their therapeutic effects are similar.
*:1 nanometer (nm) is equal to one billionth of a metre
What is the difference between the Photizo Skin Care and new Photizo Blush? To put it simply, the Blush is very focused on wrinkles and anti-ageing specifically and the Skin Care assists in a variety of conditions such as acne, pores, pigmentation, insect bites, rosacea, stretch marks, sun damage, as well as wrinkles and fine lines. Both promote collagen production. The Blush is the newest Photizo product which fights ageing and offers a more ‘focused’ treatment.
