We all know what we should do to look after our skin but sometimes a little reminding helps!
Drink water – 6 – 8 glasses per day
Avoid dehydration – make sure in heat or when exercising that you always have enough hydration on hand
Get enough sleep – or if you battle with insomnia, rest as much as possible
Never go to sleep with any makeup on – never, ever!
Try and sleep on your back if possible – this alleviates your skin being pressed against the pillow
Avoid excessive alcohol – alcohol is extremely dehydrating and regular excessiveness will show in your skin
Avoid too much caffeine
Avoid fatty and sugary foods
Avoid harsh sunlight
Drink vegetable juices – they are fantastic anti-oxidants
Try and relax (meditate, yoga) as often as possible to avoid being too stressed
Start as young as possible – you are never too young to start looking after your skin. You will be most thankful later on.
